Coaching is not therapy.

Coaching is an energising and targeted process that enables you to make the meaningful changes you want from your life. It identifies the internal blocks that are holding you back and the steps you need to take in order to move forward. Whilst counselling focuses on the past, coaching focuses on where you want to be and what you want to achieve in your career, relationships, health or any aspect of your life. It builds your resilience, confidence, capabilities and self-awareness.

 

What you can expect from a coaching session:

 

Goal Setting

I start by exploring what it is you would like to change. Some clients don’t know what it is they want but they feel something is missing or doesn’t feel right. That’s ok too as I will enable you to find out what that is, specifically, so you can start moving in the right direction. I help you to:

• Clarify what it is you want (your goal) and why it is important to you.
• Visualise what it will look and feel like when you have achieved your goal.
• Assess where you are now relative to your goal.


Coaching

I explore potential blocks through powerful questioning and a range of coaching approaches. This process shifts your perspective and facilitates your capacity to create workable, innovative solutions to achieve your goal. As your coach, I listen intently, constructively question and challenge, so that you can tap into your innate ability to work through obstacles and find the right solutions. Most importantly, I give you the time to think and reflect in a non-judgemental space to release your potential.

I support you in developing a motivating and realistic action plan with timescales and accountabilities to your goals.

Together, we will summarise each session to:

• Use the new knowledge to support you going forward
• Kick-start your action plan
• Agree a timescale for our next session depending on your tailored programme and any needs for interim check-ins and support
